Lift Weights, and…Groceries?
If it’s hard to find time to lift, start with one heavy thing you already carry every week: groceries.
How to live happier, better, and longer.
I read the books. I do the research. Then I figure out how to actually make it stick, for me and for you.
This is not about hacking your biology. It is about understanding it, and making small, smart changes that add up to something big.

About the Lab
I got obsessed with one question: what actually makes people live longer, happier lives?
So I started reading everything I could find. Books on breathing, movement, skin, sleep, nutrition, and the brain.
There is a lot of fascinating, proven science that most of us never hear about. And even when we do hear it, we rarely make it stick.
That is what Brightness Lab is for. I bring together the best of what I am learning, and I pair it with behavioral design, the science of making good habits easier and more automatic.
The goal is simple: less friction, more living.
What's in the Lab
Explore All Topics→Mind
I dig into the science so you do not have to. Every post is grounded in real evidence and written in plain English.
Explore Mind→Body
Knowing something is not enough. I explore behavioral design strategies that help turn insight into action.
Explore Body→Life
Every book I have read or plan to read, updated as I go. Think of it as a shortcut to the good stuff.

walkingwalking
Walking is one of the simplest habits for feeling better mentally. It can support mood, attention, and clarity, and it works even better when it becomes something you do every day.
movementmovement
One song, one small daily ritual, and a much easier way to get your body moving. This is less about dancing well and more about waking yourself up, loosening up, and making movement feel fun again.

Caroline Williams
Right now I'm working through Move: How the New Science of Body Movement Can Set Your Mind Free by Caroline Williams.
Before that: Breath by James Nestor and Clean by James Hamblin. Every book I finish turns into something useful here.
