The Idea
Breathing is something most of us do on autopilot. This pacer gives you a simple visual anchor to slow it down intentionally.
Follow the square: breathe in as it grows, breathe out as it shrinks. The goal is just to keep up with it.
Start with whatever pace feels comfortable. The default is 6 breaths per minute (5 seconds per phase). If that feels slow, try starting higher and work your way down.
Why This Helps
Something to follow
When your breathing has a visual anchor, you don’t have to think about it. Just follow the square. The decision-making drops away and the breath settles.
When to use it
Before a stressful moment. After a long screen session. Before sleep. Even a minute or two tends to feel noticeably different from ordinary breathing.
